Prometheus was a Titan. Titans were older powerful beings who came before many Olympian gods. In Greek myth he cared a lot about people. People needed warmth, light, and a way to cook food. But fire belonged to the gods. Prometheus decided to change that. He planned a bold theft that would make human life brighter, even if it made Zeus very angry. Helping others, in this story, meant taking a huge risk for a kind gift of flame and hope.
