KnowComic ("we", "us", "our") is an educational comic book website available at knowcomic.com. We create illustrated comic-style educational content for children and curious learners of all ages.
You may use KnowComic for personal, non-commercial, educational purposes. You agree not to:
Creating a free account gives you access to Topic 1 of all 46 subjects at no charge, forever. You must be 13 or older to create an account. If you are under 13, a parent or guardian must register on your behalf. You must provide a valid email address and are responsible for keeping your password secure.
KnowComic PRO unlocks all topics across all universes.
Free Trial: New subscribers get a 5-day free trial. Your payment card is required at sign-up but you will not be charged until day 6. You will receive a reminder email on day 4. Cancel any time before day 6 and you will not be charged.

How to cancel: Log in to your account and visit your subscription settings, or email us through the contact page and we will cancel it for you immediately.
Payments are processed securely by Dodo Payments, who acts as the Merchant of Record and handles applicable taxes including EU VAT, NZ GST, and other local sales taxes. We do not see or store your payment card details.
If you cancel during the 5-day free trial you will not be charged. If you are charged and are unhappy with your subscription, contact us within 7 days of the charge and we will issue a full refund. After 7 days, refunds are at our discretion. To request a refund, use the contact page.
All comic illustrations, text, quizzes, and educational content on KnowComic are our original work and are protected by copyright. You may not reproduce, republish, or sell any content from KnowComic without written permission.
KnowComic does not currently allow user-generated content. If this changes, we will update these terms.
KnowComic is designed for learners aged 6 and up, intended to be used with parental guidance. Accounts may only be created by users aged 13 or older. Parents and guardians are welcome to create accounts on behalf of younger children.
We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13 without verifiable parental consent. If you believe your child under 13 has created an account without your consent, please contact us immediately through the contact page and we will delete all associated data promptly.
Teachers, schools, and homeschool educators may use KnowComic with their students under these terms. If you set up a class or student profiles, you confirm that you are authorised to do so and that you have obtained any parental or school consent required in your country before entering a child's information. School and classroom data is handled as described in our Privacy Policy (we act as the school's processor). Student profiles are kept minimal (a first name or nickname and a class code), and school or class licences are for use within that school or household only and may not be resold or shared with other organisations.
KnowComic content is created for educational entertainment. While we strive for accuracy, we are not liable for any errors or outdated information. Always verify important facts with additional sources.
KnowComic is provided "as is". We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site, to the maximum extent permitted by law. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
We may update these terms occasionally. If we make significant changes, we will notify users via email. Continued use of KnowComic after changes means you accept the new terms.
Nothing in these terms removes or limits the mandatory consumer rights you have under the law of your own country. This includes (among others) the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 and Fair Trading Act 1986, statutory consumer rights under EU/EEA and UK consumer law, the Australian Consumer Law, and applicable consumer-protection laws in the United States and Canada. Where those laws give you stronger rights than these terms, those rights apply.
These terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand, without affecting the mandatory consumer rights described in section 13 that apply in your own country. Disputes will be handled by the courts that have jurisdiction under applicable consumer law.
